Latest Santa

Here\\\\\\\'s my latest effort. Santa is about4 in. tall, basswood, with BLO and acrylic washes. Still trying to build up stock for my new venue (fingers crossed!). He was carved \\\\\\\"on the corner\\\\\\\".

You have a good one there. I like the color choices and the separate beard and mustache. are an interesting alternative.

He is adorable! I love those glasses too. I cannot carve Santas yet. I\'ve tried and I have a couple of rough outs begging me to get busy, but I just can\'t do it! Keep up the great work!

Steve, To me, the chin beard transition doesn\'t look quite right. It looks like he has a lot of chunks of skin missing on his chinny chin chin.
The rest of the concept should keep you going.
