bird feet

Hope I'm not posting too much here since I'm new to this forum. But somewhere I seen where someone was asking about making bird feet. Here is some I'm making for a cardinal I'm now carving. These are made from wire coat hanger, soldered "and" epoxy bonded. I sometimes use copper wire. I have a "jig" made up of which you can see, with hole drilled for the legs to stand in, (bend the way I want the bird mounted) and grooves made for the toes to set in. The claws made with dremel and diamond cutter. thanksApple
