  • A Wedding Decree

My first grandchild, Callie is getting married . It will not be until Sep 28, 17, do what?
Anyway, I want to make a plaque celebrating the day. This is not near as complicated as Clayton's beds, but I've decided on a Celtic theme.

    Anyway here is my start

There's something a little more real, a little more natural, with the live edges. Go for it.
And congrats to the couple, too.

Looks very good, Joe! I'm sure they'll love it. Might want to change the "19" to a "20," though!

Looks like quite an ambitious project, Joe...at least you have a year to finish it! Please post your WIP photos.

Thanks for the encouragement, I'm going to have to kind of keep the skids for myself on this project. I would like to think that it will be a keepsake. the knives are sharp and I will be using some power carving as well.
