Once I got the photo I used blown up to the size I wanted it was full speed ahead,used recip carver for most of it, wasn't too hard on the old hands, the customer is picking it up tomorrow,nice to see some $$$$$ coming, i sent photos as I progressed to make sure it was what they wanted, now it might be time for a little sip pf Alberta premium LOL

The Dodo bird is with new owners now who are really pleased with it and I am real pleased with their cheque , it was kind of a fun project

I am in the planning stage to make some smaller Dodo birds, something about 4- 5 inches tall for the carft market this summer
