Hope the idea is productive for many, Joe, and I just pass along ideas from the customers. I've had way too many ideas and suggestions from them that can benefit others. I've benefited from accomplished military, to movie writers/producers, to Dr.s/lawyers, to first responders, to just about every discipline imaginable...including a dominatrix. It sure is interesting.

I really did have to think about it and left out details. Figured I'm OK.

This will be the last of the stuff I make for the stix. If Mike wants to use it just for hiking I made this compass attachment that would replace the "Big Horn" stix. Tomorrow I start adding the Poly U.

The compass mount looks good and well protected...good idea. I usually attach them with Velcro so they can be easily removed for use....JMO

That's well thought out Joe. Great accessory. Like WB807's idea too. Key word.....portability.

Mike picked up his stix today. He brought out one of his pistols so we could get some pictures. The barrel on this piston was to shot to use in what would be considered the correct direction, with the ram looking forward. But, just rotating around it worked fine, it will work on pistols with longer barrels.

It got three coats of Cabot polyurethane, wet sanding with 1200 grit after the third coat. I was having trouble with thick polyurethane, I had cut the third coat with mineral spirits per Merele suggestion, After sanding, I used an Americna's Dura Clear, Which is also a polyurethane matte varnish, worked super.

The pictures didn't turn out super but as always C&C welcome.
