  • something for the Paint Depts Valentines :)

I'm getting ready to start on the six "smoking Owls" that I'll be doing for the kids Xmas gift. I know Valentine's day is less than a month away & I'm afraid I will not be done in time to do something, so I got it out of the way. It is 6" basswood (no surprise) The spoon has walnut oil on it. (in case someone wants to eat out if) the handle is natural wood stain, with a couple of coats of lacquer sanding spray & some Walnut Gel Stain. Pretty Simple.
As always, C&C encouraged and welcomed.

I had to look at the pictures to see if there were two spoons :-) Not nested, just entwined!

Nicely done Joe. Someone old like me may call it a spooning spoon.

Nicely done Joe. I did one very similar a few years ago. Unfortunately, I can't locate a photo to share with you.
                          Great job
