Pam is getting ready to go visit her brother for three weeks. (everyone needs a vacation-right)
Anyway, I'm not accusing her of being a little forgetful, but∙∙∙∙She is, of course, a big Denver Bronco fan. So to Help her when she gets home I'm making a house address to put in her small plot in the front yard.
A while back Claude mention some high-density PVC,Palight by Palram Americas. I bought what I thought was a piece 4'x3"x3/4" pieces. What I got was 2-4"x3"x3/4". so instead of make a sign out of the whole piece, I'm going to use a piece of 3/4" plywood, and liquid nail the logo and number and letters to it. I'll add some aluminum angles on the side to stick into the ground.
anyway, ready to start the painting and assembly.
The Palight is similar but different than working with wood. I found that thin slices were the way to remove the areas that I wanted to lower. I did power carving at a slow speed for the numbers & letters. Still, have some material left over, might have to try a character so something.
Anyway C&C or questions are welcome.
