  • Pair of Bald Eagles relief carved.

My friend Paul Guraedy kindly sent me an image of a pair of Bald Eagles that he had carved a while ago, so I just had to give it a try. I modified the background and sky somewhat, to reflect our own region more closely, ain't no mountains 'round here. I am happy with the results and my wife has claimed the piece as her own.

Bob, I like the carving, I like the changes and I especially like the fact that Mary Ellen thinks enough of this piece to claim it as her own. I am enjoying following your figure carving that is underway. Though we have not, and never will, meet in person. Your the friendship we developed means a lot to me.

Very nice carving, Bob! I can see why your wife claimed it so quickly.

Thank you for the kind words. My friend Paul is right on the money, we have developed a lasting friendship through this site and while we may never meet in person, I value his friendship above all, and look forward to our chats on Messenger Isn't the internet wonderful, brings you to folks you would otherwise never meet and get to exchange ideas and thoughts.
