Just finished this coffee scoop for my brother. I used blue food coloring to give it some color. Also put a finish made for cutting boards and utensils on it last. Going to wrap it up with some gourmet coffee beens.

I'd use that every day. I grind the beans while the kettle boils. Thinking time with a simple task.
I like the squarish shape of the design = it can't roll around. K.I.S.S. in the mornings.
Very well done. How did you judge the size?Brian T

Thank you all for your thoughts and kind remarks. Robson I had a general idea on the size just because I have made several scoops over the years. I like to keep them small so they fit in the coffee canister easily. This scoop will hold enough coffee grounds that two scoops will make about 8 cups.

I like your scoop. Nicely carved and imaginative too.
Your brother is lucky to have a sister like you.
I hope he shows his appreciation in spades.
And sends you some carving tools and a handsome new blade.Last edited by Rodster; 12-18-2018, 08:59 AM.Rodster
