  • Basswood coffee scoop

Just finished this coffee scoop for my brother. I used blue food coloring to give it some color. Also put a finish made for cutting boards and utensils on it last. Going to wrap it up with some gourmet coffee beens.

Very nice, Toycarver...the subtle blue shading and the style give the scoop a soft, antique look that's quite attractive.

Nice little scoop, and a very nice gift. That blue shading is cool.

I'd use that every day. I grind the beans while the kettle boils. Thinking time with a simple task.
I like the squarish shape of the design = it can't roll around. K.I.S.S. in the mornings.
Very well done. How did you judge the size?

Thank you all for your thoughts and kind remarks. Robson I had a general idea on the size just because I have made several scoops over the years. I like to keep them small so they fit in the coffee canister easily. This scoop will hold enough coffee grounds that two scoops will make about 8 cups.

Very well done! The design and color both make it a very unique piece. You brother will love it.

Nice job Kris, that should wake him up on Christmas morning.
If I took the time to fix all my mistakes, I wouldn,t have time to make new ones.

THANKS, Rodster! I feel honoured to be a recipient of one of your poems. If only my brother took note and responded with new blades.
