I have been working on this mule since March 27 and need to finish him by April 27 I still have lots of chips to make and texturing and burning and painting to do. I better get to work. It is a Moore RO and they always require lots of wood removal
We are having a little blizzard so we don't need or want to go anywhere so I have lots of time. The second photo is the snow piled on the bar b q grill in the lights at nite, Makes and interesting photo

I saw some pictures. 3-4 feet of snow and 50 mph wind. Should give you some quality indoor carving time!
You ever worry about the power going off in storms like this?

Like that mule. Friends have some, they are far bigger than I ever expected. It's the ears.

Is the mule being a little stubborn to shed its extra coat of wood herb? You got him shaping up nicely. All we got from a lastest puff of winter was a ±1min blast of snow pellets

        Hi Herb
Nice looking mule you have there , how tall is it? Might be a good idea to have a full size one to get you through the snow, we have had snow for the last three mornings, nothing that we had to break the shovel out for, really looking forward to getting the golf clubs out ,it might happen in a couple of weeks

It's looking good, Herb. I'm sure you'll get it done in time...you still have two more weeks.

Uvawyo, may I ask where you get your Moore RO's? I like your mule, it looks very much like what my uncle used to carve, and he was a Moore.

Looks like a bazillion fireflies on a cactus. The mule, however looks like he's gonna be a mule. So far, so good Herb. Like Bruce said, maybe you should get a real one but I'd suggest you put some snow shoes on him with that much snowfall.
