  • Got egg two done

I don't know if I've got ADA or not, but to do the same thing over and over puts me up a wall. This is the second of seven of these "Seven Season" eggs that I'm doing for Xmas. I think what I'm going to do is do an egg then do some Lich. Burns. I've got a hip that is talking to me pretty good, so I'm thinking that maybe it time to use a cane . So, I'm going to take one of the canes that I've already got worked and do some burning,

I've got some other things I just itching to try, so I'll be bouncing back and from making chips to making smoke.

Anyway, the is the latest egg

Nicely done and you certainly have more patience than I do...looks complex to make. Ovals would drive off the cliff. Regardless, a nice piece.

Yeah, canes start to be a must as we age and it is good we can make and personalize our own. Fun to do. Guess we all answer the "Riddle of the Sphinx."

Well, it took me a while~

Oedipus thought a moment. Then he replied "The answer is Man. He crawls on all fours as a baby, then walks on two feet as an adult, and then walks with a cane in old age."

No fair this time of night, good one

Gee Joe, confusion wasn't my goal. I always loved the riddle and it seemed to follow my life patterns as well as many other folks. Welcome to the club ...

Another nice one, Joe! Repetitive carvings can get old fast. Last Christmas I did five sets of four panel nativity scenes, and I was fed up with them after the second one...kept thinking of all the other new things I wanted to be working on instead.

I think you got something great going here with your eggs. Not sure if you mentioned it or not but how tall are your eggs?

Nothing wrong with using a cane as long as you keep moving!! Hope Arthur Itis is nicer to you in the future.

I hear ya. All the years of lifting and carrying people got to my back and joints. I get sciatica and/or lumbago every once in a while when a storm is coming through. It was worse before I made sure I exercised more. Hope it heads to Florida for ya.
