  • {WIP} Unicorn fridge magnet.

Hi folks. here's a unicorn fridge magnet I'm whittling out of pine, for the wife of my boss. Still got some work to do, but it's coming along pretty nice for my first unicorn. The grain is running top to bottom on the horn for strength by the way. The horn is not from a seperate piece. Happy whittlin' to you all.

Nice job . I like the reshaping you did on your knife blade.

Nice "rough" out you did there and looking forward to seeing the finished product. You are certainly more adept at using that knife than I would be.

Thanks for the kindness all. @ Randy: Thanks for the compliment on the reprofile i did. That's how Chris Lubkemann shows how to re profile one in the "Victorinox Swiss Army knife book of whittling" he wrote {GREAT book!}. It works AWESOME! As he suggested in the book also, I removed the key ring, & also got rid of the tab that the key ring goes onto. Much more comfy that way in the long run. Thanks again, & happy whittlin' my friend.

This is my carving folder. I did not regrind it. It was a gift. It and a couple of palm chisels make a great travel kit.
