  • Sailor at rest.

    I carved this old guy while I was waiting at our car dealer to have my annual safety inspection done. It is a version of the sailor from an issue of WCI, a while ago. This one is half thickness, like a relief carving, so would go flat against the wall.

    Before they slip me over the standing part of the fore sheet, let them pipe: "Up Spirits" one more time.
