    This is "Ted" pondering what 2020 will bring.
    He is about 4" x 7" basswood, painted with acrylics, background statin with Watconm Danish oil~dark stain, gave the whole thing an antiquing gel stain.

              Joe, Thanks~both. In addition, when I put my pattern on the wood, I use my Mastercarver-Micro-Pri with a 1/16" dential drill to cut the pattern into the wood, which has a tendency to burn the cut into the wood before I start carving. But when finish I do use a wood detailer to highlight the carving & of late been doing more antiquing
