    The Butler Did It!

I spied a 4" piece of poplar (from Lowes . . . some hard stuff) while cleaning my shop/garage the other day. Rather than toss it in the scrap box, I decided it could do with a "stiff upper lip."

Thus . . . my take on an English butler.

Nice looking character and the facial expression is appropriate, Rontana. Can he ring the bell?

Great job of what is likely difficult wood. I bought some 2 X 2s and discovered they were in fact two pieces glued together. One piece was dark and not a glue up.
