  • Litter of kittens

Not just sure where to post these.... so I guess New Projects / Works in Progress should be ok ( I just done 'em and they're not finished yet... ). Maybe they should be in the Hoiday thread as they will hopefully be sold as tree ornaments.
Carved from basswood 3-1/2" W x 2-1/2" H x 5/8" T . Made the pattern from an image found by searching coloring pages.

Those ought to sell very well.
I've given my kids each a hand-made Christmas ornament every year of their lives.
Those kittens are absolutely typical of what I look for.
    Please PM, Wayne. How much?

Wow, some very nice kittens there and they should sell great. Might need a Santa hat or something for a Christmas look? How long to carve them?

Never really timed myself, but would guesstimate , cut out and carving 45 minutes, and probably the same for the painting ( allowing for drying between colours)

If those aren't eye-catchers, I don't know what would be, The go like a snowball in Aug.

Hi Wayne , don't know what the Pattern look like but I'm sure not as Good as Yours. You better like doing them because when People see them they will definitely want them . They sure do have your touch . Merle

The two kittens just arrived in the snail mail.
I have to say out loud how well carved and painted they are.
Thank you. My twin grandsons, Cam & Theo, will be delighted.

PS I'lll think of you on Turd's Day. What a hoot!
