    A bit over 2 hours today worked on the left hand and wrist. How can one little area take that much time?

    Thanks Anders. In my first year at college my English Composition 101 teacher said write about things you are familiar with it will make it easier to write. I have tried to apply that advice to my carving subjects.

    Tom Candy who taught me about knives and gouges, (may he R.I.P.) told me carvings a more interesting if they depict a subject in motion. I certainly have tried to keep his words in mind.

    This one certainly has it share of twist and sway. I have saved the hands for last in the hope I don’t snap off a finger while working on some other part.
