Got it done, few bumps along the way, but if people walk by aq 4 mph and 20 ft. away it will be fine.

It is a 12x12x1" barked slab CW. I first mixed a mist of 50/50 Elmer school & water and painted the bark to help secure it. I used the YUPO medium to transfer the image. The plate is made of purple heartwood. Had trouble with the lettering, first was cut into the BW, but the job came very poor so I when with the PH and for the first time tried making a decal, but a few opportunities there as well. that is why the 4/20 rating for the job.
Painted with acrylic, the carved part got one coat of Feed-N-Wax, the background Watco Golden Oak Danish Oil, the plaque got three coats of acrylic clear spray on. After letting the Watco dry for 72 hours, I'll give the whole thing and coat of Feed-N-Wax

As usual C&C welcome, said with a cringe

Nice job Joe, looks like all the squiggles came together just fine.
If I took the time to fix all my mistakes, I wouldn,t have time to make new ones.

Hi Joe , with all the Little Problems that you had and Corrected you pulled it off and ended up with a Beautiful Piece of Work and I'm sure will be Cherished Forever. Great Detailing . Merle

My gosh, thanks to you all for taking a look and the great comments! It kept me on my toes keeping all the squiggly matched up, unfortunately, some didn't make it.
Mike, got me~the CW should have been BW (basswood), but the "JK! LOL! CW?" not sure shat you're referring to .

Anyway, it has a couple more days to dry the Danish oil then I'll give another round of Feed-N-Wax & put the hanger on the back.

Right now I'm working on the baby Remiee Marie Flinn keepsake .

Again thanks for all the comments, they are always looked forward to!
