A question, I have done my first carving project a little chrsitmas tree, then i have tried to paint them, tried different mix of green, but didn'f find a good "Christmas Tree Green". Can you give me some advice on how you get that kind of green?

      Thanks,
      Carlo
Sorry, I don't get on here often. I just use Hobby lobby acrylic paints. This one I used an off the shelf green and added one drop of black. My finish for basswood carving is this: liberal sanding sealer, then paint. After the paint dries I spray with a rattle can acrylic sealer "matt" finish. Then finally, I rub in Johnsons paste floor wax (comes in a large tin). Hope this helps!
