Nothing new here, except the character. 4x5-1/2x1" basswood, acrylic paints, two-part background & Feed-N-Was, Guess maybe he hasn't been to town for awhile

Feel Like making a C&C, it will be welcomed. It might look familiar, the same guy that was in yesterday post

Another real nice piece joe. He looks like he just caught the cat chowing down on his breakfast cereal hehe.

Hi, Joe, Starting to make them in 2 Pieces , makes it much better I'm sure . You get a lot of Expression in a Piece of wood . Very Well Done. Merle

Merle, thanks, I do not quite understand what you mean by " Starting to make them in 2 Pieces"

Herb, thanks, maybe things will get better, the daily news sure makes you wonder.

Hi, Joe, you said 2 Part Background , I took it for the Background is 1 Piece and the Carving is another Piece . That's the Method I used on all my Plaques . Merle

The great expression shows the mood of most people these days, hard times are coming. Go to the store everyone looks like this, could be that we are paying more than the mainland these days by 60 to 100 percent? People are not happy campers. I looked like this a few days ago when a small jar of my favorite dessert went from three dollars to nine and a half dollars in one week. Understand one thing I can no longer afford it and lots of other food. Enjoy your progression in your work, I can still see you're getting really refine in your work. Great job.
