Hi, everyone!

Here's a Santa's helper from WCI magazine. I really like Nikki Reeses' carving projects and have already bought her book "Carve a World of Gnomes".

I made this using OCC knives and Flexcut palm tools set. Finished it with boiled linseed oil before pain and Feed'n'Wax after. This was the first time when I used oil and wax. Really like how it looks after finishing.

I think that I speak for most of the carvers on this forum when I say that I admire your work and your spirit. It is not many that can continue to find joy and peace in what they love to do with a war raging around them. We have an old saying here in the United States.... "When you're up to your hind end in alligators it's very difficult to remember that you're there to drain the swamp!" Stay safe my friend!
