Questions....as you are new. I have no idea what your goals are. It appears to me you have an art background or engineer?. I do not open my mouth until I know if you want improvement or just thoughts of what next, or just you want to do this as a hobby and just have fun, or you're wanting a serious-looking piece of art to sell. What I see, is you are very good at carving and placements. Do you just want to show your work and no comments as your going to figure it out yourself or do you want tons of opinions and then you choose what to do next? I went to art school and got the poop beat out of us for years with extremely harsh criticism that made almost all students quit. but it made us better artists. But the bad thing is it made really good artists quit also. I never give commits unless I know who you are and what are your plans. I do see someone who has a talent for spacial relationships, so I had to ask this question LOL .

Hi DiLeon, just doing this as a hobby, not looking to sell anything, I have done a fair bit of drawing and airbrushing, some was even quite good
Any critique, Hints, tips or general advice to help Me improve is more than welcome. As I have said this is My first real go at carving so I am more than willing to learn from all You good people with more knowledge than I have

Ok thanks for the information. Drawing skills major help in your work. I have only one thing that is bugging me that dent from the ear to the eye, I do note it is a measure for placement but does not appear on top of the skull with the facial muscles. Unless you have been hit by an ax in that area and it has healed... or it is a creative mark made by you. If that was not your intention I would suggest getting a side view of Pinhead which can be found on the google search engine for your reference photos. Honestly, this is your first carving you doing great on tons of levels. Keep on learning you could be really good at carving in the future. Also, a lot of people want a pat on the back so if you want comments ask for them...otherwise people in general will not give advice unless asked for. keep carving....darn good work. And do note comments are just individual opinions, you chose what you like and will do. In other words, it is your work and you will do as it pleases you...I call that the artist choice.

I see what You mean about the dent, the head is still quite squarish in that area so hopefully I can try and take some of it away with some tweaking
