Ed, you could probably carve that in your sleep now. You've apparently cornered the market on Asherahs.

              Arthur,

Having just done one certainly made taking out large areas easy I wondered if this is how carvers who do the same subject over and over feel. Confident and frankly maybe a little bored. Volume wise Asherahs are my biggest sellers but the fly fishermen have on average sell for twice as much so bucks in the kitty they have the lead. And forgive me but this is how my mind run’s amuck. I’m now think given the difference in time to carve that the Asherahs probably are more profitable by the hour.

I still find it surprising that all of the nude female carvings have been for or purchased by women.

I am also thinking of doing a couple more Asherahs to have for local art fairs and such. This next year I plan to do several carvings that are not typical for me just to have a broader offering.

Are these two "identical" or definitely unique?

Unique, but cutouts made from same pattern.

Thanks, Ed. I've made several from the same pattern, and they are all slightly different.
