Something new

[Nebraska]

A while back I bought this little pose-able manikin about five and a half inches tall. Using reference photos of manikin will be carving a pickle ball player guessing about 10” tall.

Great! I have one similar that is on a base, so I can pose it leaping off one foot, etc. Really helps get the proportions of the body parts correct.

Yes this was part of a male female set kind of a cheap set in fact. But the proportions seam fairly accurate so should work ok. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Got a male/female 6” set Amazon for around $25. I posed it on an eight point compass pinned in the center so it could be rotated with being disturbed. So take a picture rotate and repeat eight times. Crop and print, then do a little math to fit the 4x6 block on hand. Use the photocopy function on my printer to enlarge photos.
