    But yesterday I watched Mr. Linker make an arrow through a piece of basswood. Here is my copy, and found it kinda fun. 20230123_160210.jpg 20230123_160228.jpg

    Nice, Chuck, and I haven't tried it yet. He mentioned on his Sunday podcast that usually the first one breaks...congrats.

              One thing that Doug impressed on, was the time in water , I soaked them for a full 40 minutes.

                    I made this about 3 years. I watch some of Doug’s videos but haven’t seen the one where he did this, I got the idea from an old whittling book picture.
