1x6 pine from the lumber yard, freehand drawn pattern, watered acrylic and natural Watco. Made to send as a surprise for the other person in the knife exchange we do in another forum….

On a side note I have some feed n’ wax and was going to use it on there but wasn’t sure how it did over paint or if sprayed with clear after dried? Anybody have advice on that?

I like him--the golfer. Feed and wax does ok over acrylics..

Nice carving, wish it would warmup so I could play some golf. I swear my clubs are giving me a dirty look when I walk past.

LOL, I'm about to start a knife and perhaps ferro rod-wielding gnomebilly for a certain knife exchange on a certain forum... ;-)

          Another "great minds..." moment.

Finished 'Kryloning' a few others yesterday, so it's perfect timing!

Hi C, like your golfer, face expression is good.

Great face! On the down side, the figure's left arm is significantly shorter (based on front photo only) than the right arm... A suggestion for next time: have the left elbow bent, so the two arms appear to be the same length. Please take this as constructive - not a put down. BTW, socks and belt are very well done!

I know and the right is larger too. I thinned it down several times but being tight grained there I decided to leave well enough alone.
