  • an attempt to carve a Lynn Doughty Saddle

Thanks Lynn, I carved this in butternut, and left it unpainted or stained. I liked the color of the wood I know it isn't even close to Lynns minimum standard, but I had fun with it, I have some shoes in the shed where I spend the summer, so I will be making a base for it. Thanks again for the great site Lynn, hope to take a class from you some day.

It is hard to follow in the footsteps of Lynn but you done Lynn justice. Nice piece and I like the wood choice.
