Not a problem schwert.
John I use the branch for the handle and the part of the tree for the bowl of the ladle, that page schwert linked is more for making spoons really. If ya read my posts I thought I explained it quite well.

Ya, I tend to jump on things too fast, I did, after sending you that message, go back and read all of your posts, seen your pictures and looked through all of your carvings, very nice work my man.
(I am one of those that puts things together, then read the directions, if you know what I mean. LOL

LOL ya my older brother is like that but he looks at the pictures puts it together then tries to figure out where he went wrong. I don't live that far north I am south west of Duluth it isn't far north MN. But a number of my friends say I live so far out they pump in the sunlight.

Yes, I did look at your site, love that Split Rock ever been to it? One of the main roads out here is actually called split rock.
