    Re: Work in progress

Hi All, A few more days of carving in on both of the "work in progress" that I posted before. The links are the same. This Dononue tree is the largest I have done to date, turns out it is curly Maple & lots of details being added, it seems to be taking forever but I am sure will be worth the extra time involved as they all seem to be! Hope you enjoy!
    Thanks, Robbin
A couple of lonks to some news related issues also!

The first is the CCH Crusader I carved over two years ago at the CCH high school in London, Ontario & returned to carve the 11' trunk & found it was hollow so I am doing an off-site sculpture at my studio & will be pre-mounting the Crusader on top of it & then delivering & installing it at the school. The second is the largest on site tree I have carved to date & is located at the intersection of King & Waterloo streets in London, Ontario also & is part of the Tourism London/Stihl art walk tour. here is a link to the CH Sculpture. cch1 & the Donohue Sculpture.

    Hi Robbin,

Fantastic work and website. I will definitely be spending more time there, very impressive. As nice as the rest of your work is I will have to say the Victorian Lady is my favorite. She is exquisite! I also like the house behind her in the first photo. Looks like a very nice neighborhood she lives in, over looks. Look forward to seeing her gentlemen friend too. Please do keep us updated.

    Blessings,

Hi Cliff, The drive to Dunnville was about 1 1/2 hours & the best ways are to go North to the east side of Hamilton & get on the 403 West & then take exit 222 right after passing Woodstock & we are about 20 minutes Niorth up the Embro road, 3 side roads past Embro & you cant miss the carvings! Give me a call before hand just to make sure we are home 519-475-6764
    Thanks, Robbin

Just where are you located? Maybe we might take a drive up on a rainy day (being as we can afford the gas now days). I'd really love to see some of your work in person, there are no carvers around this area so it would be a treat to meet someone with the same interests.

Robbin, send me your postal code. My GPS doesn't show Brooksdakle and neither does mapquest.

Hey there Robbin, great stuff, checked your site and spent an enjoyable half hour browsing around. I'm gonna have to take a drive to London and have a look see in person. We live in Dunnvile so it's only a couple hour drive up there. Who knows maybe we'll run into you.

Hi Jim, Thanks for the comments & will keep ya posted or you can just check out my site as I update almost daily so not always a lot of time, also on dial up, ya know! Not a problem carving in the open except today, pouring rain since 2 AM this morning, but I always have lots to do anyways! It is great exposure carving in public as I do live shows also & is pretty amazing some of the people you meet.
    Thanks, Robbin
