I chip carve the two string cross that Mel refers to with a little more detail. It takes about 1 1/2 hrs. I get lots of practice because I do a couple hundred per yr.

Yeah thanks a lot but have you any ideas where to get a sketch of it so to put on ethcing paper? Would there be any on the internet and what size do you recomend?

I also find a gazillion different Celtic crosses in the local cemetary.
