Thank You "Irish"

Just finished this today. It's a takeoff of a pattern in Laura Irish new book "Relief Carving Wood Spirits" I decided to paint it since I carved it in a piece of poor basswood.
As I was carving a couple of the leaves the wood just crumbled away and I had to flatten that section and glue in a new piece. Overall it was a fun piece to carve and gave some idea of the concept behind high relief carving.

You did a very good job of that pattern. Lora I has some nice carving templates. Fine job on the painting too.
