Finished Ornaments

Just finished these three ornaments this morning, one more to go and I'll have seven ready for Christmas gifts this year.

Thought I would also share this Ornament stand that will go with them that I found online. Kind of spendy compared to the standard brass ones but I thought they were cool.

Your finish really helps them stand out. All very good..and the wink is a nice touch. Had trouble enhancing your pic of the ornament through - fourth picture to the right.

Tony, Those are reall nice. Not only in the carving but the finish on them also. Like all three but the winking Santa is tops. A+++++++++

What size are they?

all three started from aprox. a 7x3 piece of basswood (carved off the corner) finished with acrylic washes, BLO, and a 50/50 mix of dark & clear wax.

The winking santa ended up somewhere around 5 inches. My wife said they were all looking the same so I tried a more traditional looking face and beard, both need some work but something to work off of for the next go-round.
