Can you guess who this will be? - Clay model

…maybe not yet huh, I’m obviously just getting started, about two hours in, but I’ll keep posting pictures as I progress and see who can guess first.

This is my first real attempt at clay modeling, although I did make a very crud Downey Woodpecker in clay once.
I’ve been wanting to try carving this person for some time now but haven’t had the confidence to just attack a piece of wood without better reference material, and I’ve been wanting to do a maquette, so this is my attempt, we’ll see how it goes.

first three guesses though were for GW (one was a PM)

now that it was pointed out it does look a little like him at this early point.

hmmm ... hmmm, very early to guess,,,but i immediately think it is a womans face...and, despite the nose not really fits, the first moment i though ot maria in michelangelos pieta...lol ...probably miles and miles off...

glad to see you doing clay, and i see you do not need my fotos, you work much more organised than me ;-) ...why did you make this rake pattern, like as if you had pushed a comb through the clay ?
