  • "troll Bridge"

My latest oddity. The Troll bridge was loads of fun to work on. Was finished just in time for my annual Santa delivery. Each year I make the rounds, to homes of dear friends and customers, to drop off orders, donning a Santa hat carrying my box of carvings. Great to see old friends this time of year. Many purchace their "Special Gift" from my reserve. This Troll bridge was for my collection but a friend just had to have it for a gift. Oh well! Hope you enjoy the bridge. Happy Holidays to all ....... HO, HO, HONE.

That is so original and fun to see. I can easily understand why it found a home.
Your work is full of little stories.

                        Re: "troll Bridge"

Mel, The three trees were carved aside and fastened. Most of the local bark around here is only 2-3 inches. Sometimes one has to improvise for the effect desired. My next project is to be a "Dark Wizzard's Castle", perhaps with a rogue Dragon or two. Thanks for your intrest in the "Troll Bridge", it was fun to carve. How nice it would be to happen across something like that in todays world.

Heres a few in progress shots. The roadway is small screened chips glued down. Leaves an intresting texture.
