Trying to work full time and do some carving and it seems like there is not enough time in a day. Here is some of the progress that I have made. I`m trying something different on the hair that I learned in the class I took . And for me new techniques take a little time to learn. I pretty much have the face the way I want it, I don`t have the eyes cut in yet and still have a long way to go but I ll keep you posted...Bruce

Thanks Chuck if i`m correct you don`t...
Live to far from where my parents grew up. Dad was born and raised in Smithfield and mom is from Four Oaks. Next time I get down that way I would really like to visit your club. I have seen the web site and ya`ll have some great carvers in Wilson . Thanks again Chuck....Bruce

Bruce, hes coming along really great! When hes all done, you can feel the wear & tear on his face from the war. Your carvings are always created with such details and feelings!! I really enjoy viewing your work. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Bruce,
I know what you mean about working and carving time. My carving time is pretty precious.
Great start on the piece. I love the expression and from what I can see, it looks like you've got the hair technique nailed. Looking forward to the finished project.
