Thanks for checking this out. This little lady is trying to hang on until she gets some more work. Seems her last job didn't work out too well.

This one is third in the Barely Hanging On For Christmas series. Let me know what you think. I am not as comfortable with the female face to carve.

Thanks Gene, Simon and Curt. It is a great boost when carvers like you guys like our attempts.
I am having a blast creating this series, just not as sure of my carving of the female face,maybe because I haven't carved as many women.

I liked the first ones I saw and I like this one as well. Yiu are really onto a clever idea here. I have been playing around with some new ornament ideas. So far I keep ending up with similar things that I have done in the past. Keep them coming and thanks for sharing.

Mark, I toyed with the same old holiday ideas for a while before coming up with these. I have a few more ideas to try to carve.
Marcia, getting them to "hang" around is the hardest part. It has to be big enough to hold them.

Wanda, I've been meaning to comment on your ornaments, but have been so busy, I'm just now getting around to it. I LOVE THEM!!! Really neat idea. I love your imagination, you always come up with cool ideas.

Thanks Sharon, You don't know how nice it feels to have people praise your imagination instead of labeling it "overactive". Now that I am back at home, I can hardly wait to get after the next one.
