I saw one of these most valuable learning tools and decided to try making one for future reference and the sake of learning.
I reckon after making one you will probably never again forget how to carve a Wood Spirit face though.
I love carving and carvers.

That looks almost exactly like the one I made a few months back. The step by step visual is probably the most powerful teaching tool there is, for yourself or for a class. I like to teach face carving on the corner of a stick because it forces new carvers to put the rounded face in proper proportions... because they have no other choice when it's the corner of a stick.
