This is a Maple Burl that I decided to make a cave with either wolves or foxes or something. Idea comes from Lori Irish. Should prove to be a real challenge. Last one is Father Time in Nature!

That's going to be a real nice carving when it's done, Dale. It already looks pretty good. Ol' Father Time looks right at home out there in nature.

Looking darned good so far. Don't worry about biting off more than you can chew - just keep plugging away. I think you need to challenge yourself in order improve.

Thank you for kind words and encouragement. I think I am going to have to take this one a little more slowly as not to end up with $60 piece of fireword. The burl is like working with gummy rock, kind of wierd. Again, thanks.
