Thanks Sharon I think a dark wood and those beauifull tagua nut carvings would be set right off. The carvings are so cool Mateo.

Thanks Dan, I agree that she would look especially nice in your garden, my friend. I figured since it had to be cut down I might as well make something from it.

Phyllis, Thank you very much. I'm glad that you like her.

We've been bud's for almost as long as I've been carving, Ron. I always appreciate that you take the time to stop by.

    Hi Matt,

I've been following your work since your first began posting your tagua nut animals. They're always a delight and now, this table, is too. You've got a lot of info on your site and it was a treat visiting "with you." Thanks.

Terry I'm glad that you like her and appreciate hearing from you.

joggernot, problem solved? thanks for looking at her.

Howard, I'll have to try my hand at one of those. A trough 1 3/4" wide would accommodate even the biggest tagua carving. Thanks for sharing the good idea. Since I don't have actual bowl making tools, I'll have to improvise.

Hey Mateo ,,, Thank you. The bowl idea sounds great. You do very well with wood and the nagurra pieces are awesome. The idea of them displayed in a bowl what a good idea... Here is a bowl I did for the fun of it made from a 3" wide branch, I used the natural curve of the branch for the design. Something along this line may work for you, so the pieces would lay in a row???

Love the carving! Most impressed with the non-use of a chain saw, but the angle grinder would have helped. I never considered drilling a hole in the center of green wood, so will have to try it.

Wanda, thanks for checking in on me. Your opinion is always appreciated.

Thanks, Bill. I'm betting on that too. Time will tell.

Howard! I'm glad you stopped by for a look. I have been thinking about your super cool bowl. I was thinking I might carve one from a limb that blew out of one of my Maple trees. fill the bowl with some of my mini tagua carvings and put it on the table as a display. But it's hard to know what direction I will go.

    Mateo,

Beautiful job. It will be interesting to see how the wood ages. I'm betting it will darken quite a bit in a fairly short amount of time.
