My first Welsh Dragon!

Just thought I'd share a few pics because I'm excited to have finished my first dragon. Dragons are FUN!

The dragon itself is just under 2" wide and 1.5" tall, and it's Cherry.

Well, thanks! Yes, it's my own design... that's all I ever use.
Hmm... what else do you want to know, Sean? um... The overall spoon is 13.5" x 3.25"... I think between 3/4"and 1" thick. It's finished with oil & wax. can't think of anything else...

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the site. It's probably because I grew up around the arts, but coming up with the designs is almost as much fun for me as carving them. I doubt I'll ever manage to make all the spoons for which I've drawn designs!

Your spoons are just beautiful. I love your website. Perhaps you should put all your designs in a book for spoon carvers not able to draw their own spoons.
