  • Dockyard Gouges

Here's a couple of my Dockyard tools reworked, Steve Brown has a pattern for a handle simular to Harmons, these I made and then carved a face on them.

Great job Mark, A hefty handle for those little bitty tools. Great faces.

If I took the time to fix all my mistakes, I wouldn,t have time to make new ones.

Mark, that is an awesome idea ! I love my Dockyards but not a big fan of the thin handle, I will have to give your idea a try. Nice job on the carving also.

            Hi Mark,

Those are really nice faces. They've got such character in their faces.

May I ask you what colors you used for their faces. I have a Santa I would like to paint and if I could get it half as nice as yours I would be happy.

Never thought of upgrading the handles. Big hands, small handles. Why not change the handles? Good idea. Thanks Al

Wow, Mike --- those are just wonderful.
But if any of my tools had such special handles I couldn't use them!

                            Mark,
                            Very nice my friend!!

Since dockyard tend to break free from the stock handle they come with did you take any steps to reduce this risk in the new handles or just epoxy them in place?
