finished snowshoe rabbit

ed this in progress months ago. Finally finished the panel which is basswood bleached with 1 application of wood bleach and then finished with water white lacquer.

Not sure if I am going to use a back panel of some kind or a frame to make a better finished presentation. Over all I am happy with the outcome but if done again I would add 6" more landscape to the left of the rabbit. I just like the longer look in panels.

stave, that is so absolutely realistic. How many of us as youngsters have gone looking for just that view. Wonderfully done.

Very beautiful job Stave. Personally, I wouldn't add any additional landscaping, the balance appeals to me just as it is.

I do think it would benefit from a frame. Something like natural Oak or Maple maybe.
