Your carving lines gave him a real aged look...which is not always easy to get with a wood spirit. Well done.

Thanks for the nice comments. Not being good with computer skills has led to this delay in posting of any pictures for me. However my skilled wife says she would do it again for me, all I have to do is ask.
Irishman, I try to give them some age, and a look of curiosity. Sometimes it works and times its chalked up to learning.
Thor, finish is BLO then laquer.

If you follow the forum you will know I am partial to woodspirits. Love the expression on this guy as Patrick says it is sometimes hard to give them that aged look. You have done a great job look forward to seeing more of your carvings.
