  • Zebrawood mini mask

I did this a year ago. Its basically a doodle in wood. I was wondering what a good finish is for small stuff like this?

Interesting mask there, Aaron. I really like that Howard Feed 'N Wax on my found wood carvings. It's inexpensive, easy to apply, and seems to hold up well. I also have their Butcher Block Conditioner (mineral oil and beeswax mixture), but haven't tried it on anything yet.

      Arron ,
Tung oil would be a good finish for the mask as well. It will soak into the wood and really bring up a contrast of the burnt sections as well as the grain. It will also help harden the wood. Tung oil also adds great depth to the wood.
