I haven't posted any work for quite a while, but have been carving regularly trying to hone my skills and get some pieces done for my club's show in November. For fun I did a Silly Sheep from WCI
issue #50, he/she/it is the one on the left of the photo. My daughter is a big fan of the BBC cartoon "Shean the Sheep" (I like him too, is really worth watching in my opinion, very funny) so I modified the pattern to look like Shean as a present to her. Shean is on the right. THESE ARE FUN LITTLE PROJECTS TO CARVE, and everybody says "Aw how cute" when you show them off. These guys are 2x2x3 inches in the body, heads are 2x2x1.5, and the legs are golf tees....hope you like them, I get a kick out of them. Happy carving to all!
