First off I would turn the pictures right side up, it is hard to view a carving on it's side. Just my opinion for what it's worth. On your carvings you got the right idea and are doing just fine, but to improve them some I would cut deeper and that would show your detailing a lot better. That is something I keep telling myself and seems to work. Merle

lol thanks for the tips working a chisel is one thing but a computer is another monster entirely.

Those are some very nice carvings Hallow1!!! I think I like the woodspirit in the driftwood the best.
