Looking through older Wood Carving Magazine # 69 from England, I came across Peter Benson's Otterly gorgeous. I decide it would be a good project for working with body folds and expression of the otter. I used Cherry for his head , a slice of ebony on the top of a walnut staff.

Very nice job I like it alot, it's nice to carve something that not only comes out nice but is everyday useful as well. Nicely done.
