Everyone makes all this carving look so easy bringing out the great carvings like this.
I am at awe! Way to go, Gear Dog! That's great stuff there.
Now I gotta get busy!

Thanks for the kind words. It looks easy because what you see are the carvings that came out the way I intended them to. There are many golf balls that are half carved because the knife slipped or I just couldn't get it right.
Practice is what makes all better carvers.

Thanks guys my brother suggested wood burning the fur. since I don't have the skill or time to do it I'm just going to paint the eyes and nose.
