ok all finished second coat of stain on the carving I took a picture of my ugly body with the carving so you could see the size of the carving. Very satisfied customer she is thrilled to death to have it in front of her home.

Man that is one big feller Colin. What an excellent job on it! I would love to have that in my front yard. I honestly do not know how you guys do that with saws.

Thanks all for your wonderful comments I had so much fun doing this tree. The bigger the tree the better and using a saw is no different than using a knife or a chisel its just an extension of your hand. Actually I would much be out in the fresh air than cooped up in the workshop. I really feel privilaged when someone gives me a tree and lets me play. Then they turn around and give me money as well I think I have the best of both worlds. Thanks again
